Program Details
Day 1: Navigate and perceive
09.00–09.30: Introduction to the two days of training.
09.30–11.30: User demonstrations
- Four users demonstrate how they navigate and perceive digital learning resources – different age groups. 5 to 7 PhD students on each demo “station” Using the Digjobb.no as partner.
11.30–12.30: Lunch
12.30–13.45: How to navigate, perceive (WCAG principles) a digital learning resource Navigation break-out group 1 (10-14 persons)
- How to interpret WCAG/WAD in relation to eye-gaze navigation, one-button, two-button, braille, deaf. Different PhD-specializations in every group
14.00–15:00: How to navigate, perceive (WCAG principles) a digital learning resource Navigation break-out group 2 (10-14 persons)
- How to interpret WCAG/WAD in relation to eye-gaze navigation, one-button, two-button, braille, deaf. One facilitator for each group
15.00–16.00: Pitching with experts
Day 2: Understand
09.00–09.30: Understandable (WCAG principle)
- How to understand content – dyslexia, symbol users, cognitive challenges.
09.30–11.30: User demonstrations
- Four users demonstrate how they use learning resources – different age groups.
- Five to seven PhD students on each demonstration “station” Using the Digjobb.no as partner.
11.30–12.30: Lunch
